Singer Capital Markets Partnership Day 2023

Over the Easter Holidays Singer Capital Markets was delighted to host our inaugural Partnership Day in association with our charity partner’s Greenhouse Sports and IntoUniversity, as well as our corporate partner, Chelsea FC Women.

The day facilitated a once-in-a-lifetime experience for 30 girls aged between 11-15 years from IntoUniversity and Greenhouse Sports. The event was hosted at Chelsea FC’s impressive training grounds in Cobham, Surrey, and started off with a coaching session held by Chelsea FC Foundation coaches, which included a special appearance from three of the Chelsea Women’s 1st team players; Magda Eriksson (Chelsea FCW Captain), Erin Cuthbert and Katerina Svitkova, who all took part and helped the girls out with their football skills.

Following the coaching session, the girls had a tour of the impressive Chelsea FC training grounds, as well as a Q&A with Magda and Erin from the women’s team.

Joanna Osborne, Head of Marketing at Singer Capital Markets commented:

“Today is just absolutely brilliant. It’s really amazing to be able to bring together 30 girls from our two charity partners. As a business, to be able to facilitate a day like today is great and the proof is just seeing how happy and excited these girls are to be taking part in the sessions.”

Lauren Kay, Girls Participation Lead from Greenhouse Sports said:

Days like these are so important for our girls because it gives them an opportunity that they wouldn’t otherwise have. A lot of them are in areas of high deprivation and their schools don’t have facilities like these and its just actually getting them out of their local area, somewhere new with the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, learn something new and, most importantly, just have some fun.”

Jessica Smith, Lead Senior Education Worker from IntoUniversity said:

“For young girls access to football is really important and at IntoUniversity we really champion people’s talents but also access to opportunities and that’s why today has been so valuable for our girls, especially to get somewhere out of London and have an experience they would never normally be able to have in a million years and that we couldn’t provide alone. We’re really grateful to Chelsea and to Singer Capital Markets for putting on such a fantastic day for us.”

Thank you to our partners, Chelsea FC Women, Greenhouse Sports and IntoUniversity for your involvement and for helping us to provide such a fantastic experience for the 30 girls in attendance.
