Singer Capital Markets was delighted to host our charity partner, Greenhouse Sports, and 10 of their students at our office a few weeks ago for some games of table tennis.
The students also had a tour of the office, followed by an introduction to Trading session hosted by our Head of Trading, Gareth Henderson. Although Singer’s staff put up a good fight, ultimately their table tennis skills were no match to the fantastic talent shown by the Greenhouse Sports students.
About Greenhouse Sports
Greenhouse Sports is a fantastic charity which uses sports coaching and mentoring to empower young people who are facing disadvantage to help them unlock their full potential. Greenhouse Sports partner with schools where over two-thirds of children are living below the poverty line, according to Income Deprivation Affecting Children Index (IDACI); and 76% of Greenhouse Participants live in postcodes classified by government as ‘high deprivation’.
Our involvement with the Charity
Singer Capital Markets is delighted to have committed to a partnership with Greenhouse Sports for 6 years; funding a basketball programme at Bow Secondary School. This vital funding is only made possible through the Singer Social Impact Fund.
